What are the essential documents and records I should send to my bookkeeper each week?

We will work with you on a regular basis to ensure that you have access to our systems so that the essential information regarding your business can reach us in a simple and speedy way. We use Xero accounting software which you will have access to. It will connect to your company bank accounts to provide us with bank statements automatically. We will also provide you with a portal to send your supplier invoices to so that we can process them accurately and as sales are more a bespoke process, we will work with you to put a tailored procedure in place.  Proper organization and retention of these records is essential for accurate bookkeeping and tax compliance.  Let us help you get ready for your business's next step!  

Can you look after payroll for my staff?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive payroll service. We can handle all aspects of payroll, including employee salary, hourly pay and bonuses, PAYE & national insurance deductions, as well as pension contributions. We will provide you with a detailed breakdown of what you owe to your staff, HMRC and your chosen pension provider to ensure that all parties are paid on time.  

What about our VAT returns?

Firstly ensuring accurate recording and classification of all of your businesses transactions is the key to a compliant VAT return. We will track VAT that is payable and reclaimable, reconcile VAT accounts, and prepare the necessary Making Tax Digital or MTD submission. Will I get a monthly report?

Where are you based?

I’m in Northamptonshire although providing a remote service means that I can work with companies all over the UK. We will have regular Zoom meetings to discuss your accounts and to keep in touch.

What happens when we start working together?

When you decide to start working with us, we will send you a letter of engagement to sign and we will ask for two forms of ID to comply with money laundering regulations. Once those formalities are complete, we will start the onboarding process to ensure that things are in place so that you have access to the systems we use, and we have access to your company information.

How do I pay?

Payments are collected automatically you have received your monthly invoice.
